Caribbean Cruise 5-31-2009 : We boarded the Carnival Legend Cruise ship headed to the Caribbean with our friends Carol, Geraldine and Jan for 7 days of fun. The weather was perfect everyday. We played in the pools, played the slot machines, watched live shows and ate too much good food. The Grand Cayman was our first port of call. We went ashore for some snorkling and town exploring. We walked through town, shopped at some of the gift shops and had lunch at a small hidden restraunt. After lunch we went back to our ship for a nap. It was a good day in the Grand Cayman. In Belize we boarded a 40' boat and headed for the Sibun River. After a 7 mile ride down the river we picked a land rover and headed for the rain forest and had a great time driving over the huge ruts in the dirt. We hiked over a suspension bridge that lead us to an above ground cave, we had to crawl on our hands and knees at times to get through the cave and then it was back to base camp for lunch and all you can drink rum punch, then we loaded up and headed back to the boat. Our last port of call was Roatan, Honduras. We headed out for a beautiful day at Tabyana Beach. What a beautiful place!! Our favorite of all the ports!! Pigeon Forge Tennessee 4-4-2009 : Several of us went to the mountains in Pigeon Forge Tennessee to relax, get away and spent time together.We went to Dollywood, cooked out, watched movies, played pool, relaxed in the Jacuzzi, explored the wilderness and even made a snowman. Chads Birthday 11-03-2008 : We loaded up the truck and headed to Howard Park for my birthday. We played some croket, frizbee and football. The biggest hit was playing some horseshoes. Halloween Scarry Stuff 10-31-2008 : We all showed up to Dianne and Danny's house to hit their neighborhood for tricks and treats. Cody dressed up as a police officer, Brandon dressed as a scarry dude and Kayla was a little lamb. Dylan wore his usual attire and scared all the kids and adults.

Kyle's Birthday 9-22-2008 : For Kyle's birthday we went to Veterans Memorial Park to celebrate the quarter of a century event. We ate BBQ, played baseball, climbed a tree, played at the playground, opened some presents, ate ice cream cake and enjoyed everyones company. It was a good day. Weekend Scalloping 7-20-2008 : We loaded up the boats and our buckets to go into the deep blue yonder to search for scallops. We ended up with about eight gallons of the little boogers. It would have been a better day if the scallops were as plentyful as the jellyfish, there were thousands of them. Garrett and me both got stung by the purple blob looking critters. There was also an incident with a shark, he was just a little guy but my hairs stood at attention when he tried to stare me down. After we finished in the Gulf, we went to Kyle's house to shuck and eat em'. Yummy, Vikki did a good job cooking them. This turned out to be one of the best weekends I have had in long time. Cody's 6th Birthday 6-21-2008 : We all met at the local Chuck E. Cheese for a birthday party in Cody's honor. They really know how to make a birthday into a big deal there, I was impressed. We ate pizza, played arcade games and just kind of hung out for awhile. Every time Kayla got in front of my camera, my finger seemed to get the DT's. World meet Kayla: Our beautiful grand-daughter is finally out of the belly. She was born on 3-28-2008 at 4: Something P.M.. She is 6 lbs. 6oz. and 20" long. She has short blonde hair and the longest fingers I have ever seen. What a beautiful girl and the perfect addition to the family. Happening 12/15/2007: We gathered at Kyle and Vikki's house to celebrate the early arrival of Christmas in Florida. All the usual suspects were there for dinner from Publix. Happenings 11/03/2007: Vickie, Brandon, Ana and me went to Orlando to spend a long weekend with our family from Virginia. We had a fantastic time cutting up, as always, with the Fithian clan. We also got to meet and hang out with some of Michelle’s family, who we really enjoyed being around. We stayed in a condo near Disney and visited the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. The Disney parks were not as crowded as they were the first time I went which made the experience even better. I think I gained about an extra five pounds from all the junk food.
